Receive a financial contribution
How it works
Working as an employee offers more security, both for the person doing the work and for the employer or client. And sometimes employment simply fits the way the work is carried out better. The government wants to encourage employers and clients to hire a self-employed professional as an employee in those cases. But that comes with extra costs. That’s why the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) has made funding available to support employers and clients in taking that step.
Platform ACCT uses this funding for the Zekere Zaak scheme, a temporary financial contribution for employers and clients who want to hire a self-employed professional as an employee.
So: do you want to hire a self-employed professional? Then you can apply for a financial contribution through Zekere Zaak. Want to know how the application process works? Check the full step-by-step guide in the frequently asked questions.
Based on the rulebook, you can easily determine whether your organization is eligible for a financial contribution. In short, you can apply if your organization is in the cultural or creative sector and has entered into an employment contract (for at least 3 months) with someone who was hired as a self-employed individual within the past year, no more than 6 months ago.
"What seemed unattainable for a very long time suddenly came within reach. It's simply fantastic when contractors move into employment. And with the support of Zekere Zaak, that's possible."Roland Spekle - Business director, Ragazze Quartet & Zekere Zaak applicant
