What does the subsidy entail?

The government wants to stimulate the (permanent) employment of (false) self-employed individuals in the cultural and creative sector. From 2025, compliance with the DBA Act (ENG: Deregulation Assessment of Employment Relationship) will be actively monitored. Clients can use this website to apply for a financial contribution to convert an assignment of a self-employed person into employment.

Based on the rulebook, you can easily determine whether your organization is eligible for a financial contribution. In short, you can apply if your organization is in the cultural or creative sector and has entered into an employment contract (for at least 3 months) with someone who was hired as a self-employed individual within the past year, no more than 6 months ago.
